USAGE & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
For baby sunscreen SPF 50+:
Apply generously to the face and exposed areas for 30 minutes each time you go out, as soon as the first rays of sun appear. Reapply every 2 hours and after swimming. Sunscreen does not replace protective clothing: hat, sunglasses, covering clothing...
For the organic cotton diaper:
Wash the diaper before first use to remove any manufacturing residue and soften the fabric.
Machine wash at 30°C, delicate cycle. Do not dry clean. Gets softer with every wash.

From what age can Elhée sunscreen be used on a baby?
From birth.
Unlike most sunscreens which are only recommended from 6 months onwards, the Élhée formula has been specifically developed for newborns and tested under pediatric and dermatological control .
This means you can use it from the first days of life, if sun exposure is unavoidable (stroller walks, patios, trips to the beach, etc.). Of course, we always advise you to prioritize shade and protective clothing , but our cream is there for those times when that's not enough.
Can I use Élhée sunscreen if I am pregnant?
Yes, and it's even ideal during pregnancy .
Élhée sunscreen contains new generation UVA filters , particularly effective in preventing the appearance of pregnancy mask (melasma), which affects many pregnant women.
Its ultra-gentle, fragrance-free organic formula limits the risk of skin reaction, even on reactive or sensitized skin due to hormonal changes.
What sunscreens does it contain exactly?
Here are the filters used in Élhée sunscreen, all approved by European health authorities and recognized for their safety :
- Tinosorb S (Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine) : protects against UVA and UVB, very photostable, does not penetrate the skin.
- Uvinul A+ (Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone) : excellent long UVA filter, with no known toxicity.
- Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate : photostable UVA filter, very well tolerated.
- Ethylhexyl Triazone : UVB filter, very effective even at low concentrations.
None of these filters are considered endocrine disruptors or carcinogens.
Does Elhée sunscreen leave a white film on the skin?
No way.
Our sunscreen has a fluid, light, and silky texture. It is non-sticky , leaves no white cast , and absorbs quickly while remaining on the surface to provide effective protection.
This is one of the major advantages of our choice of organic filters: they offer superior application comfort compared to mineral filters, while being just as safe.
Why doesn't it contain a mineral filter like titanium dioxide or zinc oxide?
Because these mineral filters, even if they are effective, have certain drawbacks :
- They can leave a white film on the skin (not ideal for babies).
- They are sometimes less well tolerated in toddlers with atopic or sensitive skin.
- In nano form, they raise questions about skin penetration (especially in spray or powder form).
We therefore opted for new generation organic filters , without undesirable effects and perfectly suited to the most sensitive skin .
Is it respectful of the marine environment and the oceans?
Yes. Our formula is reef-safe , meaning it's free of oxybenzone, octinoxate, and nanoparticles , to protect corals and marine ecosystems . This is an additional commitment we're making, consistent with the values of the Élhée brand.
