Mom and kids

Hello Jeanne, can you introduce us to your lovely family?

I'm originally from Toulouse and have been living in Annecy for a few years now. I am the mother of Roméo, 6 ½ years old, and Louise, soon to be 5.

Did becoming a mother come naturally to you?

Not really, no. At the time, I was working for an international NGO and I travelled a lot... Motherhood wasn't a field that attracted me at all. attracted me... until you start thinking that maybe it's time ;). I had an ectopic pregnancy before Romeo, which really upset my husband and me, but I quickly got pregnant again and Romeo arrived in September 2013.

You breastfed your children for several months.
experience?

Beautifully well. J'especially loved what many people don't: thehe nights. I found them magical. Magic to share this suspended moment. Magical as being alone in the world with my baby, the 2 of us awake when everyone else is asleep and all is quiet... I really loved it and that's probably what I miss most!

What kind of mother are you? Chicken? Cool? Strict?

A hybrid mom between cool and strict. Let's say I give them enough space to be themselves, which gives me enough space to be myself and keep doing things for me and not always And the rules are very clear: they know that with 3 of them, I turn into a momster. momster.

What is your relationship with your children?

Partner and confidante, I try above all to be a good role model, because as Mother Teresa said: "Don't worry if your children don't listen to you... They watch you every day".

The ritual you never break?

There aren't always stories in the evening... but always a kiss!

What's a mompreneur's day like?

I don't have no typical day: the only thing they have in common is that they're are busy ! I start by sorting emails in the morning around 7 a.m. before everyone gets up. Then the day goes by, I rarely take a lunch break, and I go for a run almost every day at around 4 or 5pm before picking up my kids from school. I sometimes work evenings and weekendsend, but when you love it, you don't count.
