Yes, it is recommended to sterilize Élhée baby bottles before their first use to ensure perfect hygiene. Although medical silicone baby bottles are naturally resistant to bacteria, initial sterilization or after prolonged storage ensures additional safety for your baby. Subsequently, careful daily washing in hot soapy water or in the dishwasher is generally sufficient for regular use.

Élhée baby bottles are compatible with the majority of sterilizers on the market , which allows several sterilization options:

Sterilization in boiling water : Immerse the bottle, teat and accessories in a pan of boiling water for 5 minutes.

Steam or microwave sterilizers: Suitable for medical silicone, they offer a quick and effective method.

Cold sterilization solution : Gentle on silicone, it is also suitable.

Long recommended, today WHO no longer recommends to sterilize baby bottles systematically.
